Adoption Fee: $450

Brooklyn & Manhattan are 6 month old Pomeranian x Dachshund mixes. They were a rescue from central California where their family could no longer care for them. They are both under socialized but have improved since entering our rescue. They are looking for families that are ready to show a puppy the ropes and how to be dogs. We are not looking to place them together but rather to separate them and let them blossom separately. Keeping them together only increases their shyness.

They are current calmer puppies but that may change once they settle in and their true personalities begin to show but we don’t know yet. They are both dog friendly and love to play. They find their confidence with other dogs. Having another dog will make their transition so much easier. We will be focusing on homes with other dogs initially to find them a home.

They are both snugglers once they have time to know you and they love to give kisses too. They have started house and crate training but will need to continue those in their forever homes. They know how to use a doggy door. 

Brooklyn and Manhattan are only options for those who have had a dog of their own in the last 3 years and those with experience with under socialized dogs is a bonus. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 8 and dog savvy.
