Chance is the name of this fluffy fella. In 2018 Chance was in a high kill facility and needed our help. Chance arrived to us covered in ticks and getting sick. Once we had his nursed back to health he showed us how happy and goofy he is. A few months later Chance was adopted. In early 2020 he had become protective of his new human and had an issue with her boyfriend. For safety Chance was returned to us. Chance lives in a foster home with a male and female and does not show these behaviors to them. Chance hasn’t always had the best life but he’s a happy spoiled dog these days and is more than ready to find his forever! Chance is a unique dog who needs a unique home. He would do best as an only pet. He has a high chase drive for cats and has had a few altercations with other dogs in various settings. Chance can be very protective of his person. We believe a happily single individual with a low traffic home might be just what he needs! He could also find a home with a couple that can be strong leaders for him and can correct him if he begins guarding one person. He does have a history of biting a significant other when he was guarding his person. Chance is a very high flight risk so he will need a 6ft fenced yard or a tie out/ leash where his person(s) can watch to ensure nobody approaches him that shouldn’t (like other animals). Chance makes up for his flaws in his happy, bouncy, snuggly personality. He wants nothing more than to be with his person exchanging love and companionship. He is a quiet, mainly chill dog. He is a fit for apartment life or even for an on the road trucker! He is kennel trained but in the right home most likely doesn’t need the kennel. He is house trained and has some bell training. He walks decent on a leash and loves to go anywhere he safely can.
