| Physical Description | Max is a reserved and handsome black DMH gentleman born about June 1, 2022. He has the softest and most plush fur his foster family has ever seen! |
| Personality | Max was found at the side of the road with two broken legs and a skin infection as a small kitten. After 2 months recovering in his foster home, he is able bodied and can jump and climb any cat tree with ease in a manner of nanoseconds! He loves chin scratches, and playing with his toys once he earns your trust. He is very fastidious with his grooming and is particularly fond of his floofie tail. Max is easily startled and hides in his safe places peeking out until the scary noise is over. He’s a foodie and is unbelievably treat motivated and will come out of his hiding places to eat them out of your hand. He’s learning to do tricks with clicker training, and is learning to come when called, sit and sit up, and shake a paw. When he’s relaxed and happy, you can hear his deep purr that sometimes seems to surprise him as it’s so deep and loud! Max would do best in a loving and patient home, ideally adopted with one of his kitten sibling playmates or a home with another friendly cat or kitten but this is not essential. Patience will be key in building love and trust with Max but will pay off in dividends for both Max and his family. |
