Meet the cutest boy around, Markley!

We're pretty sure if you look up adorable in the dictionary you will see a picture of Markley. This 1-year-old boy is as cute as can be, but don't let his pretty face fool you, this pooch is an on-the-go type of guy. At around 13lbs he is the perfect small/medium size for any adventures and is up for just about anything.

While Markley might look like just a cute face, he is a smart little busybody that is always looking for some fun. His favorite activities include patrolling the yard with his foster sister and chasing after his favorite toys. Markley's new family should be prepared to keep his days enriched with lots of activities to ensure he doesn't get bored and get into trouble. He is still learning his basic doggie manners, so his humans will need to dedicate lots of time to his training.

Markley can be a little shy at first and can be started by fast movements, so he is looking for a family that will be patient with him and will allow him to warm up at his own pace. He is such a sweet boy that deserves that special home to call his own.

Markley has done well with other small dogs, but he seems to prefer the ladies. He also isn't the biggest fan of sharing his toys, so his new family will have to be willing to supervise playtime and make sure everyone is happy. We think Markley would do best in a cat-free home with adults only.

Like most Yorkies, Markley is still a work in progress in terms of housetraining, but he has been making great progress. His new family will have to be patient with him as he adjusts to being in a new home and a new routine. Markley does well when left alone especially if he has a food puzzle or something to work on while you are away.

Markley is ready to bring some fun and sunshine to your life, so what do you say? Apply to adopt him today!
