Who can resist Dobby and his adorable ears?

Dobby is about 11 weeks old and is the happiest little dude around. He is always down for some playtime and will never turn down an opportunity to have some fun. We think he will grow up to be 15-20lbs when fully grown.

Dobby is full of puppy enthusiasm and is looking for a family ready for lots of energy! He loves nothing more than playing fetch or racing around, so be ready for little feet zooming around the house. But after he has gotten all his energy out his favorite place is curled up next to you on the couch.

Dobby is still learning his doggie manners, so his new family should be prepared to dedicate lots of time to his training and socialization. He still has lots of things to learn, but he promises to always brighten your days with some kisses (even if he did something naughty).

Dobby loves to make new dog friends and we think he would do best with another playful small dog in his new home so he always has someone to play with. He also has done well with cats, so he could live with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. We think Dobby could be a great addition to a family with older, respectful kids.

Dobbie has been doing great with his housetraining and is slowly starting to learn how to use a dog door. He has been such a good boy sleeping in an x-pen at night and is happy to hang out in there when home alone.

Dobby is oh so ready to meet his fur-ever family, if you think that is you, submit an adoption application today!

Apply to adopt here! https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/  Applications are also available on the website  (www.yolospca.org

It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes.

Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals.  Dogs are tested for heartworm and started on preventatives and are given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption.
