Hi, my name is Dixie Gal, Dixie for short, and I’m about 11 years old. I weigh 31 pounds but I am working on getting my girlish figure back. I’m a very laid-back girl, and get along great with the other foster fur siblings here!  I’m crate and leash traineed and good with kids.  I’m just a super-chill and gentle girl looking for my forever family!  I would be fine in a home without a yard such as an apartment, and would be a wonderful companion for a senior person!  I have a few medical needs that my adopter will need to help me take care of.  I would especially love a home where my person or people are home a lot, I really like to be with my people!

I do have Cushings and will need to be on monthly maintenance medication’s.
I am currently available for adoption. More information will be provided if you are interested in adopting me.

My adoption fee is $75, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived!!
