Cat-Friendly!!!  Lewes (FCID# 07/31/23-95) is a sweet older kitten who is about 10 months old.  He has watched all of his siblings be adopted and move into their forever homes, and he doesn’t understand why someone hasn’t fallen in love with him yet.  He’s a laid-back guy who was the most reserved in his litter, but he warms up to people quickly.  He can’t wait to be pet and have his chin scratched, and lately he has been resting his head on his foster mom’s feet to take a little snooze.  If he feels enough time has gone by without receiving pets, he might give you a little head bump to remind you it’s time for affection.  Lewes has fun with toys, and his favorites are a tunnel, wand toys that he can chase, and toys that make crinkle noises.  

Lewes had a rough start to his life as a young kitten, and he developed a sensitive stomach after an infection.  He’s now healthy and thriving, and eats prescription food (Hill’s Gastrointestinal Biome) to keep his belly happy.  He loves both wet and dry food, and he’s great about using the litter box.  He really enjoyed playing with his siblings before they were adopted, and he would probably appreciate a home with another cat friend.  He can’t wait to find a loving forever home - will it be yours?

Lewes is was playing in our Brookhaven PetSmart adoption center while waiting for your visit.  One of our volunteers comments, Lewes is a mellow fellow..... and a little bit cautious at first.   He is content to stay 'under the radar' and observe his. surroundings.   He is fine with other cats and also enjoys just hanging out solo.   A quieter home environment would match with his personality and likely suit him well.  He is a very handsome guy... with his shy side, Lewes seems unaware of just how handsome he is!   Even with his low key personality, Lewes will be thrilled to meet you!
