Meet Shasta, a gorgeous female Siberian Husky! This beauty may be a little more mature, but she has lots of spurts of playful puppy energy out in the yard! She's easy-going and enjoys walks with her people, basking in the sun, and belly rubs! Those familiar with huskies will recognize their stubborn yet loyal nature, and the internet is jam-packed with this breed and their funny vocalizations! She fits the bill and will inform you if she's hungry or needs to go out. While very affectionate, we recommend that she be the only animal in the house and go to a home with older kids or no kids only due to some observations of resource guarding (think food bowls, treats, or toys). Shasta is a loving girl who would make an excellent companion to a lucky adopter.

Déjame hablarte de Shasta, una encantadora hembra de husky siberiano de 10 años. Shasta es una perra mayor que prefiere un ritmo de vida más relajado, tomando el sol. Si bien Shasta está envejeciendo, todavía se muda bastante el pelo y puede hablar si necesita comida o un descanso para ir al baño. Como ocurre con muchos Huskies, Shasta puede ser un poco terca a veces, pero es una compañera leal que requiere respeto y límites. Queremos ser honestos con los dueños de mascotas interesados y desaconsejar la adopción de Shasta si tienen hijos. Le iría mejor en un hogar donde ella sea la única mascota. También debemos mencionar que Shasta ha mostrado cierta protección de recursos con su plato de comida en el entorno del refugio. Entendemos que adoptar un perro mayor puede ser una gran responsabilidad, pero creemos que la persona adecuada verá el potencial de Shasta y le brindará el hogar amoroso que se merece.
