Biscuit is a 5 month old Schnauzer x Maltese mix who is looking for his forever home! Biscuit was rescued from a hoarding situation with his sister, Gravy, and has been brightening our lives ever since. Despite the rough start to his life, after a few baths and a good brushing session, Biscuit emerged from his muddy hair prison with a paw-sitive attitude and a belief we were going to save his life. We promised him his forever home would be perfect for him and we know they will be! Biscuit has fabulous ears and a personality to boot! Biscuit will likely be in the 12-15 pound range when he reaches his adult weight. He may be a lower-shedding dog when his adult coat grows in.

Biscuit is a sweet, sensitive little boy who has a heart bursting out of his body with the love he wants to show the world. He loves cuddles and will spend hours in your lap. He is a little velcro puppy, who loves following his foster family around the house with a wagging tail and puppy dog eyes. Biscuit loves giving out sweet kisses and adores his people. He has a lot of puppy energy and wants to explore every corner of the world! He is constantly tumbling over his feet as he races around corners, and makes everyone laugh constantly at his antics. However, he is super smart and takes corrections quickly, so he will learn new routines with ease. Biscuit has blossomed in his foster home and truly adores his people. He shows them every day how much he has to give the world. From his silly playtime routines to his puppy kisses to his little snorts as he sleeps, it is impossible not to fall hopelessly in love with our boy. Biscuit’s party trick is this little tap routine his feet do whenever he smells or sees a treat. He is ready to perform as long as you are ready to shower him in praise and adoration! With Biscuit in your life, you’ll be happy as a clam!

Biscuit starts his morning around 8 AM, depending on where he fell asleep. He heads out into the yard with his canine foster sibling to do his business before he trots inside for his morning kibble around 8:30 AM. After he finishes eating, he spends some time playing with the resident dog, zooming around the house and the yard with his pile of toys. He takes a long nap in the late morning before he gets his lunch at noon. In the afternoon, Biscuit alternates between playing in the yard, cuddling on the couch, and napping under the desk of his foster mom. He heads out for some neighborhood exploration (in a puppy stroller) around 6 PM once the weather starts to cool off. Dinner is served at 7 PM and then he goes back into the yard for more playtime. Nothing like some post-dinner zoomies to round out a day! After a long cuddling session on the couch with his human foster sister, he goes out for one last potty session. He heads to bed around 10 PM and sleeps through the night most of the time.

Biscuit lives with another dog and has gained a lot of confidence following him around. He would love a canine sibling in his forever home to play with. He loves people and wins over everyone he meets with ease. Biscuit will thrive in puppy training classes and would love to increase his socialization as he makes new friends. Biscuit is working on his potty training skills and is making great progress. Biscuit can’t wait to meet you and join in on all your summer picnic plans!

Biscuit is only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 9.
