Meet Joey! 

This extra large and intelligent man is sure to stop you in your tracks with his impressive height and striking eyes. People will have to do a double take just to make sure you're not walking around with a horse on your hip! Despite his size, Joey is fairly well-mannered though he can be a little stubborn at times! He knows commands such as 'Sit', 'Down', and 'Paw' and he walks fairly well on a leash. He does need some occasional reminding to stay at your side when he catches a scent. That hound nose will take over and he just can't resist sniffing out that smell! 

Joey is a big boy who comes with a big personality to match! He loves putting his toys just out of his reach and staring at you, waiting for you to grab it and play with him. With his long arms and big, slappy paws he likes to bat the toy out of your hand or smack it around so he can chase it. There's no doubt you will always be entertained when this boy is around and he will keep you smiling! 

Joey has had some positive experiences with other dogs and may do well with the right female companion though he wouldn't mind being your one and only! All he asks is that he go to a moderately active home that will play fetch with him and keep his mind busy. He is an avid ball dog and will play as long as you'd like!
