My purrs could power the city of Philadelphia.

This adorable, sweet cat is Baron von Butters but his friends call him BVB or Butters for short. He is a super friendly and affectionate older cat who mostly enjoys lounging around. He is fond of the scratcher and an occasional quick play session with the cat dancer but would much rather just be close to his person and elicit chin and face scritches. He even will pull your hand close to his face to let you know he wants rubs. He does not mind being picked up and carried with his paws over your shoulders as this makes it really easy for him to rub his face on your arm. He had his remaining teeth removed but that hasn't stopped him from eating well and enjoying both wet and dry food. He would love a place of his own to wander and find nooks to nap the day away. Since he was a stray his foster is unsure if he can cohabitate with other animals. BVB has hyperthyroidsm (elevated thyroid levels) That just means he requires twice a day medication and some extra monitoring from the vet. He takes his medication like a champ. Baron von Butters greets everyone with very loud purrs...you could be next. So fill out an application for the sweetest, chillest Baron you'll ever meet.

How I came to PAWS: I was a super friendly stray cat that my foster was feeding. She decided to take me in after I showed up looking a bit thin and rough around the edges. PAWS provided me my shots and stabilized my hyperthyroidism and accepted me as PAWS foster.
    Animal ID#: A56773

I am not at the shelter. Please email my foster parent at amarra34@gmail.com to learn more about me!
