This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, September 21st from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.

Pugsley is a 3 year old Pug x Beagle mix who is ready to find his Adams Family home! Pugsley was rescued from the shelter after his former home was no longer able to provide him the love he deserved. We scooped this handsome dude up and promised him he would be “Pulled” in a new direction, towards his forever home! Pugsley weighs 16 pounds and every ounce is chock full of love and personality. We know he is going to be the joy of his new family’s life! If you’re ready for a rascally little roommate, look no further than our Pugsley! 

Pugsley is a happy and loving dude with a perfect Pug face and an even more perfect personality. He has a permanent smile on his face and is so gentle and warm. His Pug face matches perfectly with his Beagle body to create a combination any Adams family member would be proud of. Like any Pug, our dude isn’t looking to run any marathons, but he does love a good stroll to the coffee shop for a pup cup! He is a champion napper and can snooze the hours away on the couch as he snores happily. Pugsley is truly the perfect Puggle, we aren’t biased at all! He is loyal and loving, always willing to suit up for any adventure his family wants to embark on. As long as you have tons of snacks in your pockets and room for him in your lap, he’s into it! Pugsley is super smart as well, and a world class inventor (go with us on this). In fact, we think he could even help you start preparation for your perfect family Halloween costume. He may not have opposable thumbs but he has the passion and commitment to the theme to make up for it! 

Pugsley starts his morning at 8 AM with a cuddle session followed by a morning walk. Once he does his business, he heads inside for his favorite meal of the day: breakfast! After he eats, he gets a treat and then he settles in for his morning nap. He snoozes for a few hours and then wakes up for lunch followed by some playtime. In the afternoon, Pugsley plays with his toys and lounges on his bed. He gets cuddles from his foster people as they finish their workday. Once the weather cools down, Pugsley heads out on his evening stroll followed by dinner. He gets another treat and then more playtime. In the evening, Pugsley soaks up all the cuddles and kisses his people have to offer him. He goes out for one last potty and then goes into his crate for the night at 10 PM. 

Pugsley gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. He also met our cat tester who came in to meet and greet and see how our dogs do with a cat. Pugsley passed with flying colors. He was not bothered or intrigued and couldn't care less about the cat. He could go to a home with a cat.He loves meeting new people, young and old, and especially loves when they give him yummy snacks! He walks very well on a leash but is known to get distracted by birds flying by. Pugsley is house trained and crate trained. He will adorably tuck himself into bed when he is ready for a snooze in the evening. Pugsley is just the best dog and we know his forever family will see that immediately. Pugsley is an option for any home, regardless of prior dog experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.
