Scarecrow is a 6 month old Havanese x Poodle (Havapoo) mix ready to make his mark on your heart! Scarecrow was rescued from the shelter after he took a wrong turn following the Yellow Brick Road. We promised to take him to the Wizard and fulfill his biggest wish: a forever home! Scarecrow has a soft fluffy coat and eyelashes that would make any model jealous. We can’t believe anyone could have let this boy go, but we know he will have an amazing life with his forever family. If you’re ready for a fall favorite, adopt Scarecrow! 

Scarecrow is a fun-loving, friendly little gentleman with eyelashes for days! Once he settles in and decides you are his people, you are his forever. He is super smart and a little foodie, so he will shine in any training class he is enrolled in. In fact, he has already learned a few tricks from his human foster siblings. He loves training time because it means the treat bag comes out. He adores his foster brother and showers him in nonstop kisses from dawn till dusk. He loyally follows his people as they go about their days, especially when he thinks there may be treats involved. Scarecrow is the perfect puppy blend of playful yet relaxed when he wants to be. He loves playing fetch with his little tennis balls and also loves to wrestle with his foster brother. He loves his yak cheese chews and his plush Lamb Chop toys. It’s hard to resist him when he bats his long lashes at you, trust us we have trier! Scarecrow’s dream home has a resident confident dog he can take his cues from and play with. The key to winning him over is letting him see how amazing life with you could be. He would love a backyard or a home near a park where he can sniff all the smells the world has in store for him. Our favorite thing about Scarecrow are his bunny hop zoomies he does around the yard when he’s happy. We know Scarecrow will be your new best friend once you take him home!

Scarecrow starts his day at 6:30 AM and heads right outside for a potty break. He romps around the yard for a bit before coming inside for breakfast at 7 AM. He gets his zoomies out with his foster brother as they explore the backyard. He loves to give out plenty of kisses as well when he comes to check in on his people. He spends the rest of his morning and afternoon alternating between playing in the yard, investigating his pile of toys, and snoozing on the various beds he has. He has dinner around 7 PM and then shows off his fabulous zoomies as he runs around like the energizer bunny. He loves some evening yard exploration as he checks all his favorite sniff spots. He then hangs out on the couch for the rest of the evening as he soaks up cuddles and love from his people. He goes out for one last potty and then heads to his crate at 10 PM. 

Scarecrow lives with a medium sized dog who he absolutely adores. He has met a variety of humans and after a calm introduction enjoys them all. Snacks are the way to his heart for sure. He is learning basic obedience and leash skills but his forever home should be prepared to continue this training and socialization. Scarecrow is house trained and crate trained.
