Mutt Love was asked to help with rescuing a number of hounds that ended up in a rural shelter when they were seized by animal control as part of a cruelty and neglect case. Liberty was one of two hounds that Mutt Love rescued. She was found with multiple untreated tumors. We took her immediately to our vet where the tumors were removed and fortunately all came back benign!! Despite the deplorable conditions she came from, Liberty remains a sweet and gentle girl. Liberty is about 3 years old and weighs about 35 pounds. We would love a foster or adoptive home where Liberty can put on weight and thrive, putting her neglectful life behind her.
