Sweet, calm, affectionate, quiet, gentle guy!  This lovely cat was abandoned by his owner outside and left to fend for himself.  A Good Samaritan started feeding him on her porch, but she already has 4 rescue cats of her own and could not keep him and got him to us at Fancy Cats.  Hersey is a bit shy, but loves attention (he rolls over when you talk to him) and likes being cradled like a baby.  How sweet is that!  Get your camera phone ready.

Hersey loves to play and has been playing well with the resident female cat in his foster home. Feather toys are fun but Hersey is a fiend for the motorized spinning toy.

He is not a fussy eater, is housebroken with tidy litter box manners, is good with other cats and kids, likes a scratching post and your attention.  What’s not to like!  A cat this sweet deserves a great home, come and meet him.

Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
