Name:  Mona         Best Guess for Breed:  Lab/Terrier mix  

Best Guess for Age:   3 years old as of November 2024          SEX:  female

Approximate Weight:  36 lbs

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen Mona with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.

Special Adoption Considerations: Because Mona is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.

Mona is Looking For:  Mona did a great job of raising her babies, Moonshine, Magdaline, and Munchkin, and now she's looking for her own forever home.  Now that her mothering days are behind her, Mona is excited to explore the world and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation. Whether it’s going for quiet walks, lounging by your side, or simply enjoying a cozy spot in the sun, Mona is ready to be your loyal companion. She is eager to find a loving family who will give her the happiness she deserves!

What My Foster Says About Me:  Mona is such a mild sweet dog that is happy cuddling up with her person all day and night. She came to us very scared but has settled in nicely. She is still timid and will need a family with patience. We have seen that she just needs time to trust you and when she does, she is such a love. She gets so excited to see us and all she wants to do is be next to one of us. She never barks and isn't a big player. She is calm, likes walks and snuggling.

She is the best and if anyone is looking for a second dog, she would be the easiest and best choice. She is so easy going, loves every dog she meets, chill, quiet, and just wants to cuddle all day.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
