Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of Mar 2025       SEX:    Male

Approximate Weight:  55 lbs 

Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!  

Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.

Special Adoption Considerations:   Heath is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show him the ropes! 

Heath is Looking For:  My perfect family who can keep up with my active lifestyle. I have plenty of energy to burn, which makes me a fantastic companion for outdoor adventures and playtime.

I love long walks, chasing after balls, and learning new tricks.  When the day winds down, though, I’m all about the cuddles. I look forward to  finding the comfiest spots to snuggle up with my favorite humans.  Are you mine? 

What My Foster Says About Me:  Heath is an adorable, curious, sweetheart! He gets along great with new people and dogs. He does excellent on leash and at the dog park - he plays well with dogs of all sizes and play styles.  Heath has a lot of energy and loves sprinting around the backyard and dog park, but he can easily pivot to calm and relaxed mode.  Heath likes to know where his people are but isn’t clingy. He is great about occupying himself by looking out the windows or playing with his toys or napping peacefully. I've absolutely loved fostering this sweet cuddlebug and watching him blossom!
