Aspen was born around August 10, 2023, and might top out in the 75- 80 pound range. We feel Aspen looks a lot like an Akbash; however, she's likely a mix of a dozen or so breeds.  This beautiful girl can be shy at first but quickly becomes a wiggly goofball and has bursts of those goofy moments.  She has been good with the other dogs both large and small.  Aspen rides well in the car.  On leash, she tends to hunker down, not knowing exactly what to do, but she is learning quickly and is already so much better.   A really fun thing we've learned is she SMILES!  Aspen seems to be house trained. This girl has fur, and lots of it!   Thankfully, she doesn't mind being brushed, and you will have to do a lot of brushing to keep up with her coat.   We will be looking for a home with large-breed experience to make sure Aspen lives her best life    
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00

Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. 

 

Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
