Foster or Forever Home Wanted! Meet Murphy!

Murphy’s story was almost over before it even had a chance to begin. This 2-year-old boy found himself at the shelter, kenneled with another dog who had parvo. But fate had other plans. Thanks to some big-hearted rescuers, Murphy got his second chance and even made the newspaper in the process! He’s been treated, neutered, and is now ready to find the forever family he always deserved.

We’re still getting to know him, but one thing’s for sure—he’s ready to be someone’s best friend for life.  Murphy is a great middle size at just 40 pounds and it seems someone taught him a few commands along the way.  He has shorter fur which is great for minimal shedding but he is actually really soft and fluffy.  The shelter staff described him as a darling little guy and our volunteers say he has done great on walks and at adoption events.  He rides like a gentlenan in the car.  Murphy is a great age just past the puppy antics, eager to please and would love to be your walking partner and snuggle buddy.  Apply to adopt at www.LabradorsandFriends.org and give this survivor the happy ending he fought so hard for!
