This confident kitty is very food-motivated, which can make training (and mealtime!) a fun and rewarding experience.

He loves to be up high—jumping on furniture, perching on cat trees, and surveying his kingdom from a cozy spot on the couch. When it comes to people, Rice Pilaf  is affectionate, cuddly, and loves being the center of attention. Petting sessions? Yes, please!

While Rice gets along well with respectful older kids, he tends to prefer being the only cat in the home or being in charge if there are others—so a solo pet household or a cat-savvy adopter would be ideal. With the right setup and plenty of love (and treats!), Rice will make a fun, loving, and loyal companion.

Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
