Physical Description | Betty has a short stature but a strong personality. Shes all black and full of spunk. |
Personality |
Betty loves to talk and will make her presence known. She enjoys playing fetch and running around playing chase. Betty would do great with another cat she can play with. She is a fearless girl. She loves your company, but don’t expect her to sit in your lap, she’s to busy for that. If you’re looking for an active girl, Betty is sure to deliver.
Betty has a unique congenital condition making her bones more susceptible to injury that has resulted in several bone fractures prior to her rescue. Her current routine involves a safe environment away from things like stairs or banisters and she would do best in a similar adoptive environment. She has no current fractures and is not receiving any specialized care beyond good monitoring and a daily oral medication. We are in the process of working with UC Davis to establish an official diagnosis for her but she has otherwise proven herself to be fully adoptable to the right home that can continue to love and monitor her. Please reach out if you'd like to learn more about Betty! |

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $135 for kittens or $80 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
