Gets Along With: Doria is great with other dogs! She hasn't been seen with kids or cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. 

Currently Living at:   Texas shelter; needs a forever home in the DC area to escape!

Meet Doria – The Sweet Girl Who’s Spent Her Whole Life Waiting

for a Home! 

This sweetie is in a shelter so far south in Texas, it's 30 miles from the Mexican border. Doria arrived at the shelter as a tiny puppy, full of hope and curiosity. But as the days turned into months, and months into over a year, she has grown up within the shelter walls—her puppy features fading while she patiently waits for a family to call her own.

Now a loving and playful adult, Doria is as sweet as they come. She thrives in playgroups with other dogs, adores every person she meets, and has a heart full of love to give. But what she’s missing is a forever home where she can finally experience the warmth of a couch, the security of a family, and the love she has never known.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
