Meet Mr. Adorable!

Joey is a cute, roly-poly youngster (born April 2024) who was trapped along with his mom and siblings when he was around 4 months old. He has tamed up nicely and is looking for a home to call his own. Joey is a bit nervous when meeting strangers, but he quickly warms up to become an affectionate, sweet, good-natured kid who loves to be loved! He has a great purr and likes to sit on your lap or next to you. He loves being pet all over his body (that belly? it's not a trap). Joey likes Churu treats which are the way to his heart. He also enjoys having covered beds to hang out in.

Joey adores other cats and dogs and would do best in a home with a friend. He would also do well with calm/older kids who want to play with him. He has great litter box and scratching post manners too!

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

• $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
• $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
• $200 for kittens (6 months & under)   
• $125 for cats (older than 6 months)   
• $75 for senior cats (8 years or older)
