Meet Bumpy, the 46-pound lap dog! Named after the beloved dinosaur from Jurassic Park, she is just as sweet, snuggly, and playful as her namesake. A true lover of people, Bumpy thrives on attention and affection, always ready to curl up or nuzzle in for pets and cuddles. Her gentle, mellow nature makes her a soothing and relaxing companion, perfect for someone looking for a calm yet loving pup.

When she arrive at PAWS, she was understandably very nervous with all the big changes in her life. She blossomed in our care, but she still has a shy side and would flourish in a home where she can decompress and settle into a routine. She has lived with dogs her size (including her sister TriSarahtops, who was recently adopted!) and to help with her confidence, she would do best in a home with another dog friend. She reportedly coexisted with cats, mostly ignoring them but occasionally giving chase. She is still learning house training and leash walking, so a home with a yard would be a big plus to help her build confidence at her own pace.

While Bumpy is mostly laid-back, she has a playful side too! She loves shredding stuffed toys (so be sure to have extras ready!) and has a sneaky habit of stealing snacks when given the chance. She has been described as having "the calmest disposition" and being “relaxing and soothing” to be around. With a little patience and encouragement, Bumpy will blossom into the loving, loyal companion she’s meant to be.
