What My Foster Says About Me: Maverick has been such a good boy since he arrived in my apartment. He has been super respectful of my grumpy LDAR alum and leaves her alone when she doesn't want to play, but is ready to roll when she is! He goes into his crate and sleeps through the night without any issues. He will bark if he hears a noise outside the apartment, but quickly quiets down. He is a DREAM to walk on the leash, hardly pulls, and does his business within the first few minutes. The shelter staff said he is great with all dogs and adjusts his playstyle to each dog - and they are spot on. He is able to wrestle or chase or play tag - whatever the other dog wants to do, he is up for it. During the day, he either sleeps next to me while I work or snores on the couch with my dog. He seems like a super easy dog so if you want an affectionate, big boy, Maverick is the total package!
Maverick is Looking For: His forever home! This big ole sweetie landed in the shelter due to no fault of his own and he's eager to once again have his own family, to love and be loved. He's ready to trot by his human on long sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. Making new pup pals along the way sounds great too. Quality kibble, a cushy dog bed and dog toys round out his wish list but you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to be a loyal companion for all his days.
What do you say? Is this playful cutie the one for your home and your heart
