Gets Along With:        Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.

Currently Living at:    DC area foster home.

Special Adoption Considerations:    Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. 

Roseanna is Looking For:  Her forever home! This gorgeous girl is a shepherd mix - and those shepherds A) need significant enrichment, because they're so super smart and thrive on training, and B) get really, really attached to their humans. Roseanna is looking for someone who's eager for a super smart cookie for bonding through training and world exploration! She's still a puppy, too, so plenty of play and snuggles are high on her list too. 

Most of all, she wants to know who her humans are, where she belongs, and that she's safe and loved for all her days. What do you say? Does Roseanna get to show you what an amazingly loving and loyal companion she is? 

What My Foster Says About Me: Roseanna is baby girl and baby girl is Roseanna. She is the biggest love bug ever. Her and our other foster Nessie are besties and they are constantly cuddling. She LOVES our big german shepherd too. She can be very deferential with our other dogs - looking to them for what to do and how to play. She absolutely loves any ball type toy and is quickly becoming a fetch pro. Roseanna LOVES food - anything and any kind. She gets really excited and does this cute tongue shake and sucking noise - almost as if she can taste the food by the air around her. She forgets how big she is, especially when it comes to cuddle time. Her favorite thing is to climb into bed in the morning after a potty break and lay with her head smushed so close to mine that our noses touch.

Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
