Meet Cotton – The Fluffiest Gentleman You’ll Ever Love

 

Cotton is an 11-year-old, possibly part Maine Coon with a heart as soft as his gorgeous white fur. This majestic boy came to us after his beloved owner passed away, and he ended up in a kill shelter. Now he’s looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years. 

 

His foster family says Cotton is the perfect mix of laid-back and playful. He takes his naps very seriously (catnapping is basically his sport), but when he’s in the mood, he loves a good game of chase or batting around his favorite toys.

 

Cotton might not be a fan of being picked up or sitting in your lap but he adores affection—especially a scratch behind the ears—and he’ll gently headbutt you when he’s ready for some love. He’s got impeccable litter box manners and eats like a champ. He is currently being treated for an ear infection and we’re still figuring out if he’s hard of hearing, completely deaf, or just has selective hearing… like many distinguished gentlemen his age- either way, he manages just fine.

 

He’s been a calm and easy companion around three teenagers, and when he’s done socializing, he quietly retreats for some solo time. Cotton is the definition of chill.
