Fire fly is a sweet kitty, a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Firefly has an old injury which appears as though she had broken ribs, which have since healed, though improperly. The veterinary staff says that this will not affect her health, going forward, but she would appreciate a quieter home. She gets a long with other kitties. Her siblings/friends, Chumlee and Maximus, rescued from the same area, are also looking for homes, so if you are looking for two or three cats, I’m sure they would love to go home together, but it is not required.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

• $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
• $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
• $200 for kittens (6 months & under)   
• $125 for cats (older than 6 months)   
• $75 for senior cats (8 years or older)
