Best Guess for Age:  2 years old as of April 2025        SEX:   male

Approximate Weight:  41lbs 

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

Currently Living at:   Shelter; needs foster or forever home in the DC area.

Zain is Looking For:   His forever home! This sweet, sweet boy is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And snuggles at the end of a fun day together. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on his wish list as well. But you know what he wants most of all? To know he's safe and loved.

What Shelter Staff Say About Zain: Zain spent some time on the Dogs Playing For Life Canine Center campus in Florida. There, he received basic training and enrichment, and socialized with other dogs. 

Zain worked on the Sit and Place commands there. He also worked on loose leash walking and sitting at open doors, waiting to be released to go out. He also got to play with enrichment toys such as food-filled Kongs and food puzzles. He likes playing in group with his doggie pals and was good with dogs who needed a little help socializing with others. He likes to play chase and wrestle - that's his play style.
