Camela is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Camela! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zooms out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. When I'm a little older, I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me?
What My Foster Says About Me: Camela is a very very loving dog!! She is eager to make new friends, dog and human alike. She loves snuggles from humans! she also likes all sorts of toys- stuffies, balls, rubber bones for chewing. She will be a great addition to anyone's family!
Camela's Dog Day Out Adventure: We took Camela on a dog’s day out adventure! At first she was a little wary we might've been kidnapping her from doggy daycare but after a quick trip in the car to Starbucks for a pup cup we became BFFs. Camela spend her day playing with 2 other puppies and she had a blast! She had a blast playing chase, gently wrestling, and sharing toys. After her playtime, Camela snuggled up with our pups to take a nap, her favorite spot is to sleep on her human’s lap. Her new family MUST love to snuggle as it is Camela’s top priority! Camela also met our pet rabbit and was curious but didn’t bark or chase. Camila got more and more comfortable as the day went on. She found the treat cabinet (and made a very compelling argument that it should be left open), tested every toy in the house, found some that were lost, and even let us give her a bath. She opted for the full spa package. She smelled like lavender and looked quite pleased with herself afterward, wrapped up like a little burrito in her towel. She then joined everyone in the kitchen for dinner prep, sat calmly with the others, and ordered the chicken and rice entree. They all ate together. She acted like she’d always been part of the family. Just... so easy and gentle to be around. Right before the end of the night, we noticed she’d lost a baby tooth during playtime. We made sure the tooth fairy was notified — she was dropped off with a new bed, treats and toys when she went back to Playful Pack. She played. She trusted. She cuddled. She was loved. She’s a very special girl. Whoever ends up with her will be incredibly lucky.
Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
