Currently Living at: Shelter - coming to the DC area soon

I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Boots, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself.

Special Adoption Considerations: Boots has Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR) or "feline herpes". So when Boots is too stressed, he will have a flare-up that needs medication. Do not worry, cats with herpes can have a completely normal life. The virus is not contagious to humans. He just needs low-stress - so think of feline herpes carriers as a living stress-o-meter. :) He would be contagious to other kitties if he has a flare-up, so Boots is best for a home as the sole kitty - or as a buddy to another cat affected by feline herpes.

What the Shelter Says About Me: Boots Cats Who Crochet? Boots has been watching crochet tutorials. He wants to add value to the therapeutic benefits he will bring to his new family. (This cat is loving, funny and yes, a bit goofy.) Handsome huggable Boots' goal is to learn the cat stitch (or help you unravel it) in his forever home. Boots gets along well with other cats (even if they are not into arts and crafts). It is easy to get hooked on super-playful & silly Boots. He is ready to leave his hammock and his bachelor pad at the shelter and get wrapped up in a crochet blanket with his new family!
