Hello! My name is Marco aka Sir Purrs-A-Lot. Welcome to my page! I am a super friendly guy who is adjusting to life in a home and have a little bit to go on confidence being approached in the open. I LOVE receiving pets, being brushed and dragging toys all over the house to include up/down stairs and over baby gates. Feather wands, ribbons, balls, and toy mice are my jam. I am also a hug fan of treats – churu, party mix, Whole Life Just one (salmon, tuna, turkey, chicken).

I’ve tried to befriend the two resident 15 year olds and the calico and they are not the least bit interested. I’ve even attempted to make friends with the younger ones, who have semi-accepted me, but they have had the leisure life for a bit longer than they should and are slowly adjusting to light fun interactions. I am doing very well with vet visits and taking supplements. I am even getting better each month with the monthlymanicures/pedicures (where treats at the end are what I am hanging in there for). I am a squirmy kind of guy, so if I am unsure of what you are up to, good luck hanging onto me. I flew all the way from Afghanistan to live the American
dream. My teeth received much needed attention and the antibiotics that were cramping my style have me feeling much better and singing loud and proud the song of my people when I am in my bedroom for the night or when I need some time to think about re-befriending the 15 year old feline residents. I am a smart, helpful boy and will benefit from another feline who would be interested in my friendship and a home that will help me with my diet. There are some foods that do not work great for my system and/or for making it to the litterbox in time, but there are foods and supplements that are helping me keep healthy. If wet food is not of interest, I will help you by burying it by overturning the bowl and/or using adjacent kibble and/or floor mats to cover it up. My paw is also a great scooper to reach for something I’d like to check out or testing water. I know “up up” and what that water bottle can do, so I am most definitely catching on / receptive to learning.

Not only am I FELV/FIV negative, I am current on rabies (three years!) and distemper (one year). All I need is my own people who will allow me to roam the home, hang out, have a chit chat about this and/or that, soak in the sun, have toys to drag around and someone (human and/or feline) to interact with. If I sound like your kind of guy, my foster mom is most
receptive to visits from approved applicants.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
