Hi! I’m Haru, and I am sweet, easygoing, and curious! My sister Vely and I are all the way from South Korea. We found our way onto a Korean army base as kittens, where we were adopted and cared for by a sympathetic officer. Our dad was really busy, so we had to spend a lot of time with each other, making us inseparable!

My foster mom says I’m quite the beauty with my smooth gray coat, green eyes, and dainty limbs. I love people, and I am always looking for a nice lap to sit on to purr and be petted. If you are in a different room I may meow for you to come find me! I am eager to explore new spaces and play with toys. I’m already quite the accomplished hunter with my favorite feather toy. I’m also really smart – I learned how to shake paws and high five inside of a day. It was easy since I got some really tasty treats while learning! I’ll come running over if I hear you open the bag.

I’m really quite a mellow cat and spend a lot of time relaxing. I’m always cuddling with my sister Vely, of course, but I’m friendly to other cats as well. I’ll also probably do well with cat-friendly, laid-back dogs and older children.

I’m sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, since my sister and I had to spend such a long time by ourselves. There’s lots of things I’m unfamiliar with, like loud noises, car sounds out the window, and even a water fountain. I’m sure I’ll adjust well if someone gives me the patience, quiet, and love to fully blossom.

Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
