LUNA - 2 1/2 years old, 30 pounds, friendly, happy, playful, seems dog tolerant

Luna is an adorable mixed breed girl surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her.

She is nervous when first meeting you...par for the course when it comes to new shelter residents. 

She has deep black fur with brown mixed in unique patterns on her face, legs and chest. 

Luna is said to be a lazy, sweet & loving girl who enjoys naps and running. 

She loves to play and enjoys most toys.

She is house trained and good with kids and dogs. 

*We are told she is scared of bigger dogs so remember proper introductions and respectful dogs are key.

*She is protective over her food and should be respected with space during feeding times.

We tried her in our shelter playgroup and with the specially chosen and vetted dogs, Luna came in and allowed others to sniff her appropriately. After a little while she was running and chasing others.

Luna is very thin and seems to have issues gaining weight. We are closely following her to make sure we do what we can to bring her up to a healthy weight.
