Name: Jacob          Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua and terrier mix 

Best Guess for Age:  7 months as of May 2025        SEX:  Male

Approximate Weight:  16 lbs as of 5/6/25; he is still growing. 

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
 

Currently Living at:  Texas shelter; will come to the DC area sometime in late May!

Jacob is Looking For:  His forever home - he's just out of puppyhood and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world. He's looking forward to having his own humans to show him all of the exciting things life has to offer. Trips to parks, playdates with pup pals, and new adventures are on his to-do list! Oh, and LOTS of cuddles!

Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange, he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Are you ready for all those adventures with Jacob?

What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster.
