Sassy is a spayed female long haired, orange-and-white tabby, born in May 2024. She came to Humane Society under our spay neuter work, but after she was spayed, we realized that she had a badly broken leg. She had to have that leg amputated to reduce her pain. There were two breaks, and they were both near the elbow so she could not have had that break repaired. Sassy has a beautiful personality, and she needs to be in a home where she is a treasured member of the family. Special needs. Indoor cat only! The adoption fee is $100. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to:

We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.
