Physical Description Jack is a gray manx kitten.
    Personality

Jack is a really sweet, affectionate little boy. He is eager to play and is happy to sleep in your lap. He is wide-eyed and curious about everything. His personality is everything that you would want from a kitten.

Jack is a special needs kitten due to a congenital abnormality called atresia ani, which means that the opening in his rectum / anus was too narrow to comfortably pass stool. Jack was originally surrendered to an emergency clinic due to his condition, but has received treatment at UC Davis to dilate his rectum to be able to pass stool. With the addition of laxatives, Jack is doing very well at home, growing, defecating and eating! Jack's condition does make him prone to getting a bit messy but he has done well in a contained environment and is tolerant of wearing diapers. Jack's condition may continue to improve with time as he grows, but it is also possible he will require medications and bathroom support for life. We're looking for an extra special person with the love and attention to devote to Jack! He truly has no idea that he is different and deserves every chance at a full life.
