Meet Wagler! This sweet boy was originally trapped as a stray and thought to be a feral kitten. It didn’t take long for his foster to realize he was anything but—Wagler is incredibly affectionate and loving!
Wagler is fully grown and approximately two years old. When he first visited our vet, we discovered that his small size was likely due to malnutrition and an untreated infection he had been living with. The infection had spread throughout his face, affecting his eyes and mouth. He also had several oral abscesses, and most of his teeth had to be removed. Thankfully, Wagler has made a wonderful recovery. Aside from some eye discharge, he is now healthy and thriving. His eyes do not require medical maintenance, but he may need them wiped occasionally.
Wagler is the definition of a lap cat. His foster describes him as an "aggressive snuggler" because he’s so determined to climb into your lap and soak up all the cuddles he can get. He’s a total sweetheart who does great with the child, dogs, and other cat in his foster home. He's especially close to his feline foster brother.
Wagler is litterbox trained and has no trouble eating dry food, even without most of his teeth!
Wagler's adoption fee of $50 includes: Negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), Rabies, FVRCP, and feline leukemia vaccines, routine de-worming, topical flea protection and a microchip. He is being fostered in Rootstown, OH.
