My name is Randa CCR1048.  I am available for adoption through Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR), a nonprofit dog rescue located in the Denver area. I came to CCR from Texas. There is very little history on me.  CCR has been told I am a lab breed mix, but that is just a guess made by shelter staff, rescue volunteers, and our veterinarians.

Each name has a meaning behind it.  Randa must mean devotion, smart, willing to learn.  This describes Randa in a nutshell.  She is an active girl that would do well with daily walks at least 30 minutes long.  After the initial excitement of being outside, Randa walks well loose leash next to you.  She needs to be reminded to ignore the barking dog behind the fence, but this is a very easy correction.  She wants to please her people.  She is treat motivated to learn new positive behaviors.

While with CCR, Randa has raised a family and conquered low heartworm positive.  She is now ready to have new adventures with her own family.  She needs a home with a yard, she will bark in play, is a good alert dog, would enjoy another furry playmate, but would be just as happy as an only dog to be the center of your world.   She is kennel trained, house trained as long as outdoor access is available. Randa is best with older children only because of her excitability to greet her family.  Randa would enjoy sleeping in your bed but currently sleeps in a kennel at night.  She enjoys car rides, any where you are she will find pleasure.  She is best not to be paired with cats.

If you are interested in adopting Randa,  please submit an adoption application located on our website, www.coloradocaninerescue.org. We are asking for a  $175 adoption donation for Randa.  Please note, CCR cannot guarantee the breed composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the shelter.
