Foxy is available for adoption through Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR), a nonprofit dog rescue located in the Denver area. She came to CCR from a rural shelter in Kansas and so there is very little history on her. CCR has been told that she is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, but that is just a guess made by shelter staff, rescue volunteers, and our veterinarians.

Foxy is a petite gal but this small package is full of love and optimistic energy! She is about 3 years old and almost 9 pounds.  She is extremely social and happy to meet humans and dogs on her walks.  She enjoys playing, running and chasing and being chased by her foster dog siblings.  Foxy would do best in a home with other playful dogs and a family that will walk her and interact with her.  She thrives on human interaction and loves to be around her family.  Since she is a terrier, Foxy likes to watch squirrels and birds and has a high prey drive.  She may not do well in a home with cats, or small mammals.  Foxy is not fully housebroken yet, as she has had a couple of accidents inside the house. She may need lots of potty breaks and reminders as she gets used to her new adopters routine and appropriate places to potty.  She is great in the car, and loves watching the world go by through the window!  This sweetheart is so full of love and is ready for her forever family to share her life with.

If you are interested in adopting Foxy, please submit an adoption application located on our website, www.coloradocaninerescue.org. We are asking for a $200 adoption donation for Foxy. Please note, CCR cannot guarantee the breed composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the shelter.
