My name is Kendy. I am available for adoption through Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR), a nonprofit dog rescue located in the Denver area. I came to CCR from Texas with my mom and siblings when we were just 2 weeks old. There is very little history on us. CCR has been told my mom is a terrier mix, but that is just a guess. My dad is a complete mystery and could be any breed or mix of breeds.  Even though my mom is only 22 lbs the vet thinks I might be a big dog but it is a complete mystery right now since I am so young. My date of birth is December 31st, 2016.

I am one happy puppy!  I love spending my days playing with my siblings, my mom, and my foster mom's dog (he lets us climb all over him and chew on his ears).   I also love chasing the cats (they are very tolerant of me and my siblings) and running after my foster mom so she will pick me up and cuddle with me.  I love cuddling!!! I stay in a pen with my siblings while my foster mom is at work and that is fine by me, I just crawl up on one of my siblings and sleep or we play in the pen.  Because I am so little and don't have a big belly yet I get to eat 4 times a day.  I have not learned yet how to go potty outside, my new family will need to be patient and teach me how to do this.  I love toys!!  Any kind of toy (and sometimes a shoe) that is on the ground I will play with.  Soft toys without any stuffing are my favorite!  I have been told I am a very smart pup and will need a new family who has the time to spend with me and train me.  I would also love to be able to socialize with other dogs because I'm not sure how I will handle being without my siblings.  I have been very nice to the kids that come to the house to play with me but because I am a puppy and I am teething I sometimes bite and jump, but its just because I am a baby and these new teeth can be a pain sometimes! As long as my new humans have patience with me I will be a great asset to any family!!!

If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption application located on our website, www.coloradocaninerescue.org. We are asking for an adoption donation of $225 as well as $50 for the spay/neuter deposit for me. Per Colorado State law, the $50 deposit will be refunded once we have received documentation that the spay/neuter was completed within 90 days post adoption. Please note, CCR cannot guarantee the breed composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the shelter.
