Dwight is a sweet little gentleman who adores his sweet little girlfriend Little Bit. These two are a perfect example of two dogs being easier than just one: they eat together, sleep together, entertain each other, hang out together with their people for lap time. Dwight and Little Bit were surrendered to the shelter with signs of neglect and both needed extensive dental surgery. They can now eat without pain, have gained some weight and have twice the energy and charm.  This cuddly pair want to find a home together and stay with their people for the rest of their lives.

Dwight is 8yo and Little Bit is 7yo who, being small and long-living Chihuahuas, have many more loving years ahead of them. Each weighs approximately 5lbs. Both are good on leashes, walk well in harnesses, travel well in the car, and will sleep in a bed together at night. Both are house trained and pee-pad trained in their foster's home. Dwight might mark at first, but once settled in his foster home he has become more polite (foster will provide a belly band for Dwight to help with his transition). Dwight will protect a toy and thinks a rabbit chase around the back yard the best fun ever. Little Bit is more of a risk taker. Dwight is the lover and snuggle champ, and Little Bit wants to look into your eyes before claiming her half of your lap.  Little Bit can get up into your lap on her own, but Dwight asks for a hand up.   Little Bit is the determined one, and will try to find a way over a low fence if you (or your couch) is on the other side. They are friendly with other little dogs, but will bark at cats and consider chasing a skittish cat just because it would be so much fun.

Dwight and Little Bit would be okay with older children who understand just how fragile these two are, and who will look under a blanket before sitting down on the couch. Their favorite night is TV night, as both are dedicated couch potatoes and always want a warm space to burrow under the blankets.

Dwight and Little Bit are up-to-date on shots. Both have had dental work done. Dwight is neutered and Little Bit has been spayed.  Dwight's adoption fee is $250.
