Hi, my name is Tucker.  I have a really cute way that I tuck my legs under me when I sit so my foster mom says the name fits me perfectly.  I have put on a little weight since I have been in my foster home and my mom says that I am a very handsome man.  I am learning to be more confident and a less fearful guy but I still need some time.  I like to be where you are and watch what you do but from a little distance.  My foster mom holds me every night in her lap and tells me, that I am kind, and smart and beautiful.  I am learning to not be so stiff and relax when she talks to me like that.  My previous people weren’t so nice to me so this is all new to me but I am a fast learner.  I run very fast and it makes me so happy I smile.  I love running in the yard and my foster sisters and brothers run a lot so I have fun darting in and out showing off how fast I am.

I would love to live with a family that has a confident and secure dog who can show me the ropes and how to I am supposed to respond to all these new things I am learning.  I prefer quiet voices over louder and more stern sounding voices, they are still scary to me and I will run and hide when I hear them.  I need someone who will be patient and teach me that people are good and we do fun things together.  If you need a young handsome man like me in your life and have the patience to help me learn about the good life, then I’m your man.
