Hey there, looking for an awesome little dog? That would be me! My name is MARLOW, and I am a 2 year-old Chihuahua/Terrier-mix, but that is only a guess. Originally, I was adopted from a shelter in Texas by a wonderful family. Sadly, they had to give me up, so Colorado Canine Rescue (a non-profit) is helping me find my forever home. Since there is little history on me, let me tell you about myself. For one thing, I am very adaptable. I have lived as an only dog in an apartment and did just fine (I got to go on lots of walks for exercise). At Foster Mom’s, there is a yard and dogs of all sizes to play with; and once I was introduced to them properly, I’ve done just fine with them, too. There are also cats – they’re okay, but they don’t seem to like to play much. I’ve lived with both adults and kids, but I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. It doesn’t take long, however, before I want pets and attention. I am crate-trained, but I may fuss a little at first because I’d rather be with my people. And of course, sleeping on your bed is much better than sleeping in my crate (I’m a pretty good snuggler, if I do say so myself). I am house-trained (although there might be an accident or two while I am getting used to my forever home). Don’t I sound like the dog for you? Please go on-line right now to fill out an adoption application at www.coloradocaninerescue.org. CCR is asking a $175.00 adoption donation for me, which is such a deal because I am neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative and microchipped. Remember, though, the Rescue can’t guarantee my breed composition or my age – but you won’t care about that once you meet me!
