Read the following at your own risk. If you continue, you are likely to be totally smitten by handsome, sweet Sammie. At 20 lbs., this 1-year-old Rat Terrier mix is the perfect size for engaging in play, as well as cuddling. Sammie will entertain you with bursts of puppy energy, but the rest of the time, he's pretty chill. While he's definitely a people dog, he gets along great with other dogs too, so he'd do well as a single dog or as part of a multiple-dog household. He has also done well with cats, and he has such a friendly disposition that we're pretty sure he'd enjoy being with kids too (with proper introductions, of course). Sammie is already crate trained and basically house-trained, having had only one accident so far. He only barks when necessary, walks well on leash, and rides nicely in a car. He does have a fascination with hanging threads, which seem to beg to be chewed upon, but Sammie will try his best to resist their temptation if you tell him no. This youngster is also working on some basic obedience and doggy manners, and he would love to continue his training with you so that he can become an even more awesome pup.
