Beau, in French, means sweetheart, and our Bo more than fits the bill. As sweet of nature as he is of heart, the striking 6-year-old LOVES to cuddle – with his loving foster parents. Suffering from Progressive Retinal Atrophy, he’s slowly going blind, and while barely noticeable during the day, it’s more obvious at night. He’s adjusted well, however, promptly coming when his fosters call, and still walking well on a leash. His superb sense of hearing has heightened and, thanks to his high intelligence, he’s quickly learning to respond to commands such as "sit" and "stay". Fully housetrained, he stands at the door when he needs to go out, and when his fosters aren’t home, he stays in the living room and sleeps, then sleeps in a bed next to theirs at night. With a full life still ahead of him, what this sweetheart needs to make that life complete is a loving and accepting home to call his fur-ever.
