Rocking her red harness, romantic Roo is right where she wants to be – held tight against someone’s chest. Known in her foster home as a snuggle bug who loves giving and getting kisses, this sweet 6-year-old also loves being cuddled like a baby. Like her brother, Bo, she suffers from Progressive Retinal Atrophy, and is slowly going blind, and although it’s barely noticeable during the day, it’s more obvious at night. She’s adjusted well, however, coming promptly when her fosters call, and still walking well on a leash. Her excellent sense of hearing has heightened and, thanks to her high intelligence, she’s quickly learning to respond to commands such as "sit" and "stay". Fully housetrained, she rings a bell on the door when she needs to go out, and when her fosters aren’t home, she stays in the living room and sleeps, then sleeps in a bed next to theirs at night. With a full life still ahead of her, what this snuggle bug needs to make that life complete is a loving and accepting home to call hers fur-ever.
