Meet Angus, a wee 1-year-old lad weighing 13 lbs. He is a friendly, spunky guy, who is equally happy taking a long walk, chasing a ball, or napping on a soft blanket. Angus is fully house-trained, and he has not had one single accident in his foster home. He gets along well with pretty much any dog he's met, and he loves his humans, including the new ones who come to visit his house. Like many terriers, Angus does bark at exciting things outside, like the mailman, kids getting off the school bus, or someone riding a skateboard. But on a leash, he pays no attention to anything except moving forward on his walk (or run). Angus has an endearing habit of presenting a welcome "gift" to anyone who comes in the front door, usually a squeaky toy or possibly a flip-flop that might be handy (he doesn't chew on the flip-flops). His ability to spring from a sitting position suggests some Jack Russell Terrier in his lineage, while his short legs and sturdy neck hint at a bit of Corgi. But there is no question that whoever his ancestors were, they gave this handsome Rattie mix a great disposition. Angus is an all-around delightful dog, who would love to have a family to call his own—one that will take him on walks and shower him with love and snuggles.
