Quincy is a 2-3 year old border collie/cattle dog/jack Russell mix!   He is neutered and fully up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  He is extremely bright and alert.  Quincy came from Texas, where he may have lived wild and free, as he is pretty timid with people.  He loves, loves, playing with dogs and hanging out with them.  All ages, sizes and temperaments.  Quincy goes with the flow.  While he enjoys alone time in the yard, or playing with dogs, he is scared of people and needs a special family or person to give him the time and space he needs to blossom into his full self!  He is almost there, just needs a bit of encouragement.  He walks on a leash, rides in cars, and loves to play with soft toys.  Quincy is fully housebroken and very well behaved.  He has never shown aggression or possessive behaviors with food, toys, people, etc. and has a very mellow personality.  Quincy is also crate trained and has stayed in a crate for up to 6 hours with no misbehaving!  Quincy is an escape artist and so his adoptive family will need to take precautions and provide training to prevent him from escaping out the door.
