My name is Anastasia CCR996.  I am available for adoption through Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR), a nonprofit dog rescue located in the Denver area. I came to CCR from Texas. There is very little history on me.  CCR has been told I am a lab/collie breed mix, but that is just a guess made by shelter staff, rescue volunteers, and our veterinarians.  

Ana is a lovely mellow girl that thoroughly enjoys getting out for adventures.  She is approximately 3 years old, and weighed 50 lbs at  her recent check up.  She rides well in the car, loves exploring on walks. Ana is matched best with other amiable dogs.  She chills  with all dogs, but takes a bit longer to be comfortable with the more forward personalities.  Ana does get overwhelmed by too many people or dogs.  Her reaction is to find a quiet spot for a bit and go unnoticed. She has been attending a socialization class that last few Saturdays.   She does great with cats, and kids, loves looking out for another foster dogs' one month old puppies.  Ana is looking for a family that is patient letting her warm to them. It would be ideal for her to have a yard so she can go out and sun herself at her leisure, tumble with another dog, and go on daily walks.  Ana would enjoy sleeping in bed with you, but is just as pleased to sleep on the dog bed near by.  There are no concerns that Ana needs to be kenneled, nor much of a barker.
